Through my practice Strength In Motion Counseling you will receive a combination of mindful based approaches to mental health counseling. I offer therapeutic services such as one one counseling in a traditional office setting along with mindfulness skills training and movement sessions such as walk and talk therapy, group and individual hikes.
I specialize in working with tweens, teens and young adults struggling with issues related to addiction, trauma and PTSD, in addition to mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and life transitions.
In our work together I will help you recognize areas of your life that you may be able to gain a better sense of control of. I will help you find awareness into the root of what may be causing your suffering. Together we will find a way to be honest and willing to be present with your experiences. We will work at your pace to identify skills to address what isn’t working, and to find ways for you to take your life into your hands!
