Nadya Waziri, L.Ac., facilitates healing through comprehensive, individualized treatments which include; acupuncture, bodywork, Chinese herbal therapy, qi gong, and dietary and lifestyle coaching. Nadya has experience in treating a wide range of physical and emotional issues, with particular expertise in treating pain, both acute and chronic, deep rooted emotional trauma and accompanying stress-related symptoms.
Nadya Waziri is board certified by the NCCAOM and licensed in Colorado as a acupuncturist and herbalist. She received her Master’s of Science in Traditional East Asian Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. This advanced degree included more than 3,000 hours of education and training in a Traditional Chinese Medical approach to acupuncture, herbalism, nutrition, and medical massage (acupressure) as well as a solid foundational knowledge of conventional Western medicine. She has also taken courses in 5 Element and Japanese style acupuncture. Her undergraduate degree was in Dance, which has provided her with a intuitive knowledge of how the body works, and a deep understanding of the wide range of athleticism and injuries our bodies can experience. After practicing yoga for 20+ years, Nadya is now studying to be to teach yoga and will be certified in June 2016.
