A Little About Me

I integrate person-centered, realistic, and psychodynamic approaches, emphasizing strengths while building new skills. Let’s talk. I offer a free phone consultation. I am a Graduate of Regis University in 2010 with a Masters in Counseling. I graduated in '95 with a BA in Sociology from CU Boulder. I have up to 15 years experience helping families, including children ages 1 year to 17 years.The last 7 years my focus has been crisis intervention and providing treatment to trauma survivors of abuse and violence. I have worked directly with trauma survivors as well as helping professionals with vicarious/secondary trauma. I have a passion for using appropriate humor, and creating an environment for healing and recovery. I offer practical and creative solutions collaboratively designed to meet your needs. On a personal note, I raised 2 now young adults and have experienced first-hand the struggles of co-parenting, divorce recovery, business ownership, and understand the importance of balancing personal and professional worlds.
