I’m a psychotherapist practicing in the Denver metro area. I received my Masters in Counseling, emphasis in Couple and Family, from the University of Colorado Denver, and my Bachelor in psychology from University of Colorado Denver. I have worked in a variety of settings including a Career Center, Counseling Centers, Eating Disorder Centers, and various University offices.
I knew I wanted to be a therapist since I took my first psychology class in high school and fell in love with the subject. I knew with a career in psychology I could make a positive difference in my community. As a therapist I believe that you are the expert of your life. I try and provide a safe nonjudgmental environment for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. I understand that life can become stressful sometimes and during these times we can all benefit from a safe place to explore our thoughts and emotions.
My goal and approach is to provide personalized therapy to each individual, couple and family, because I believe our life experiences and backgrounds shape who we are and how we experience the world. I will work with you in a collaborative and compassionate way, while challenging you and providing feedback that will help you achieve your life goals in therapy.
