Sometimes we get stuck, whether it’s a feeling that life is going well, but could be better, or a more debilitating issue such as trauma, anxiety, or depression that's preventing you from reaching your goals. My passion is empowering children, adults, and families to identify and cultivate their strengths so they can move forward again with the skills to heal themselves, heal their relationships, and reach their full potential.
No one approach is right for everyone so I have received training in several different therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. If you need a big breakthrough, consider meeting us out at the farm for Equine Assisted Psychotherapy.
My educational background includes a BA from West Virginia University in Sociology and Anthropology, an MA in Sociology from Indiana University, and an MSW from University of North Carolina Wilmington. I hold certificates for Gestalt Therapy and EAGALA Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning.
