I am a License Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) and I am working towards licensure in the state of Colorado. I graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University. My clinical experience has been working with individuals struggling with depression, eating disorders, and substance abuse. I also have a passion to help individuals overcome their self-deprecating thoughts that may be hindering them from experiencing happiness. No matter the presenting issue, I would work at the best of my ability to understand your concerns and help you navigate a path towards relief.
I believe that being a therapist is my calling in life. Through my personal journey, I have discovered that people have an intrinsic need to know themselves and others on a deeper, more meaningful level. Working with a therapist myself, I have experienced the power of the therapeutic relationship . Counseling allowed me to untangle the many webs I had created in my thought patterns. Seeing the benefit of this in my own life gives me a desire to help others in a similar way. I find fulfillment and joy when I am able to provide a space for individuals to share their struggles.
While I am more than willing to work with individuals from all faith backgrounds, I do offer Christian counseling. I believe that faith coupled with sound counseling techniques can bring about freedom many individuals are seeking.
I look forward to getting to know you and hearing more about your story. At this time I am available to see clients Sunday afternoons and evenings. Please give me a call for a free (20 minute) phone consultation and we can discuss your needs.
