I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has worked in the mental health field since 2002. I graduated The University of Vermont with a BA in Psychology. I then attended The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and received a MA in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in counseling. I have extensive experience working with a variety of populations struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, family issues, adjustment disorders, and more. I began to specialize and train in Postpartum Depression and mental health relating to infertility after my own personal struggle. I know how hard it is to find the strength and courage to overcome the overwhelming emotions that are related to infertility and postpartum mood disorders. I am trained and certified with PSI (Pospartum Support International) to provide assessment and treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I am also certified in Alice Domar's Mind Body Training for Infertility. I believe that through the therapeutic process one can begin to heal and find meaning and empowerment behind their story. I gently guide one by using a collaborative, individualized, strength-based, and integrative approach in order to help one connect with their emotional experiences and ultimately increase self-awareness, balance, and peace. By using different modalities such as CBT, mindfulness, person-centered, solution-focused, narrative therapy, and more one can learn effective coping and problem-solving techniques and find inner strength and growth.
