I enjoy working with children, families, and individuals who are seeking support to change relationship, behavioral, or emotional dynamics that are hindering them from experiencing ease in their lives. I provide a therapeutic space that is accepting of people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, ethnicities, sexual orientations, body types, and genders.
I have an eclectic therapeutic skill set that allows me to individualize treatment. With that said, my foundational approach to therapy is Motivational Interviewing (MI), which is woven through out my practice. As an MI therapist, my goal is to work collaboratively and empathically while directing clients toward change.
As a dance movement therapist, the other thread that runs through my practice is focus on the importance of the body in mental health. I believe that the body is a wellspring of information about disturbances and can be used in healing them through bare awareness and movement.
