Belinda assists adults and teens seeking increased well-being. She provides a safe and supportive environment to explore the challenges of anxiety, depression and grief from a place of awareness and compassion. Belinda offers a therapeutic approach that utilizes an integrative blend of family systems, attachment theory, Gestalt interventions, dreamwork and creative art therapies. Through mindfulness and somatic awareness, she invites clients into a fuller life experience by providing opportunities to deepen their authentic connection with themselves at their own pace and in their own way.
Working collaboratively, Belinda helps clients develop a personal toolbox of resources that are solution-focused strategies to help promote emotional regulation, cultivate new habits and create new perspective on how to navigate life’s transitions. Healing naturally unfolds during the process as clients learn to balance and support their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs. It is through balance individuals are empowered to make new choices and create effective change in their lives.
In addition to her private practice, Belinda offers over 15 years experience as an educator and mentor and has served the Boulder community's low-income residents and at-risk youth with counseling services and creative arts therapy. She received her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado and is a member of the American Counseling Association.
She offers an initial complimentary 30-minute session.
