David McDonald   LPC, CAC III

Mental Health Professionals

I work with clients who are Veterans and or Active Duty military who have experienced trauma in the career and or life, These Veterans and Military personnel will not usually seek assistance they will tough it out and express their response to their stuff at home and significantly disrupt their relationships. I help in the desensitization of their reaction to the memories and or triggers of their trauma. I consider my self both an EMDR Therapist and Reality therapist. (EMDR) is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. Additionally I am Retired Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer (E8), Having retired in 1992, I served on the USS Forrestal, USS John F Kennedy and USS Nimitz. The military service coupled with education and training give me a skill set to effectively aid military Vets and active duty to address those issues that are creating struggles in their every day life.
