Elizabeth works with people interested in cultivating a deeper understanding of what it means to be human. She specializes in helping clients develop resilience, build strong relationships and cultivate self-compassion. She has years of experience working with people who live with addictions, want to change impulsive behaviors, suffer from chronic pain, and/or deal with overwhelming emotional states.
Elizabeth started out as a visual artist, moved to New York in her thirties to explore that art world and entered into psychoanalysis. While in New York Elizabeth enrolled in a Modern Psychoanalytic institute, got married, had kids and moved to Boulder, where she finished her studies at Naropa University adding a Transpersonal twist to her Modern Psychoanalytic roots as well as several years of training in mindfulness. Mix all this up into a creative approach that enables clients to become active in creating their own lives.
